Best hot dogs ever!

Great hot dogs and malts. A treasure I grew up with that I will always visit when I am back in the area. Highly recommend the Bob Dog and a chocolate malt with cheese balls.

Food was just okay. The service was chaotic, and they couldn't find us even though we were sitting in the dining room. They were calling out names, but she was not very loud.

Excellent service and food, worth the special trip.

A requirement for anyone visiting KC. It's a little out of the way, but it's worth the stop. I've been eating there since 1995. Every time I'm back in KC, I have to eat there.

Always quality food and service with a smile! We enjoyed a couple of dogs, salad and fries, and all were delish and presented nicely! The view from the outside deck was great, especially when unbeknownst to us, a scheduled car show unfolded around us in the parking lot! I definitely recommend giving the 'Step' Dog a try if you like spice and crunch, and my bf highly recommends the Southwestern Salad offered. A must-visit if you're visiting the Ice Cream Capital of the World :)

Bob's Drive-In has been around as long as I can remember. The Bobs dogs and taverns are still the best and you will likely not find anything like it. It originally was a true carry-out dining only then over the years they've added the patios and indoor dining. Would highly recommend plus there's a part of history or nostalgia when you go to Bob's Drive-In.

Do you love hot dogs? Do you love them with all the fixings? Definitely stop here if you do. In fact we refer to them as Bob Dog. They are hands down the best place to eat for hot dogs. I have tried their other food and it is great. The hot dog is by far my favorite.

Drove over 2 hours out of the way for what i was promised was the best hotdog in Iowa, if not the world. I'm here to tell you that this little spot on the planet delivered. The dogs had a snap when bit and the flavor carried through. GET ALL THE TOPPINGS!

Ordered 2 hotdogs at 12:01. I stood outside till almost 12:16. Never got my hotdogs. People that ordered behind me got bags of food. No sign of my dogs. $6.18 wasted and didnt get lunch today.

ZOMG. How can you go wrong with Bob's? It's not "city gourmet" but it's definitely the midwest food I grew up with - served with a smile and a really great price. Definitely try a loose meat tavern - but don't miss out on the fries and hot dogs too!

Historic place, since 1949. Get the tavern & hot dog-unusual for its tight casing. Fresh local buns, lean loose-meat sandwiches. Ask for cheese. Cheese balls are yum, too! Menu also had chix. My husband was the #2 employee, trained by Bob himself. Locals love it! Folks detour into town for the great food.

The, "tavern," is a sloppy joe burger without the manwich. It's really good. I was pleasantly surprised. The fries are crisp and hot, and the cherry slushee was very sweet. Wait time was super minimal at 1145am. Overall a great stop if interested in a quick bite on the move. Hotdogs & chicken sandwiches are very popular, also. Total was like $8, so, inexpensive in my opinion. Worth a stop for sure.

Bob's Drive in has some incredible food options, especially in the department of chili covered hotdogs, seated in tasty buns. During a hot summer day, they also have some great icecream, just be prepared to jump in line - as locals already know how good the food is. Speed of service was good, especially given the number of customers I have seen there while waiting in line myself. While there might not be a huge amount of seating inside, the place does have a cozy, rather nostalgic feel to it.I would easily recommend Bob's to anyone passing through.

Best got dogs on the planet, have a flavor burst ice cream cone for dessert.... Enough said!!

Favorite place to eat ever! Dogs are amazing. Have to donthe classic dog with meat. Nothing bad on the menu. The Kass family are great.

Bobs has ALWAYS been my favorite since I was a grade schooler back in the 70s. Just went and had lunch with my sister. As usual you did not disappoint.

Lovely lady with wisdom was so sweet taking our order. Awesome hot dog with meat sauce! Pork tenderloin sandwich was juicy and tender! I wouldn't hesitate getting either again.

A friend of mine, Chad V, brings home 20+ back to Waukee every time he goes to LeMars. Now he is bringing back even more as he gave me one about a year ago. Love them. The dog is one of the best I have ever had. Snappy! Definitely a quality dog and they are a must have. Glad he has a SUV!

Delicious food no matter what you select. Very clean, colorful decor. Hospitality and quick service always part of one's experience. A tradition for anyone growing up in northwest Iowa.

I always have the tavern with everything meal. The tavern and fries are always the same and so delicious! Haven't been there in 2 years but tasted the exact same as I remembered. Yummy!

Simply the best taverns and hotdogs in all of the midwest. Rated #1 hotdog in Iowa buy a major national publication and I agree. Great onion rings and shakes as well. I don't find myself in or near Le Mars very often, but when I do, I also make a special out-of-the-way trip to Bob's. The type of food you yearn for when you've been away.
